Belize Flats Fishing Information - Turneffe Flats Belize
Saltwater flats fishing in Belize. Fishing for bonefishing, permit, and tarpon on Turneffe Atoll.
We fish from 16-foot Dolphin Super Skiffs custom built in the U.S. These are comfortable skiffs that cut the chop when running and pole well in skinny water. They have large casting decks and rod holders for six rods. All skiffs are equipped with VHF radios, GPS trackers and safety gear. Lean bars are available on all skiffs.
Our fishing schedule is as flexible as possible. A standard day's fishing is about eight hours. Generally, the fishing day begins after breakfast and ends around 5 pm. although it is adjusted depending on the tides and other factors.
There is a definite tarpon season in Belize as most tarpon are migratory (May - October). Bonefish and permit are resident populations and fishing is remarkably consistent throughout the year.
We provide this laminated map of Turneffe fishing sites for all anglers.
