Fabulous Diving Experience
Just spent a wonderful week diving around Turneffe Flats. Ruben, divemaster and Leo, boat captain were so knowledgeable about all the fish and coral and made each day such fun. This was my first experience diving - Ruben was so supportive and gave me loads of confidence. 18 dives just wasn’t enough. Can’t wait to come back.

An Incredible Diving Getaway
We stayed here on the 4-night Diving Package. It was an absolutely incredible and unforgettable experience! Turneffe Flats far exceeded our expectations with the grounds and facilities all being meticulously cleaned and a gorgeous infinity pool. It was a 90-minute boat ride to the island which was well worth it!

The staff we’re all kind and friendly, and the food was all incredible, the meals were all unique and delicious - especially the desserts (one highlight being Banana Meringue Pie). The packed lunches and snacks for the dives were also delicious.

Our dive master Ruben was SO great! He made us feel safe and informed while also having a blast! He pointed out some great wildlife and safely guided us through the Blue Hole. Ruben and Leo also took care of everything on the boat from changing our tanks to setting out/cleaning the snacks. Turneffe Flats is a great place to travel with loved ones!

Beautiful Remote Dive/Angler Resort
Turneffe Flats is located on a beautiful atoll, close to great diving in healthy reefs. The cabanas are very comfortable, clean, with A.C., and porches facing the water. Food is top notch, and they accommodated my vegetarian/pescatarian diet. The staff is wonderful and make you feel like family. Divemaster Ruben and Captain Leo made sure our diving was everything we hoped for.

Dive Trip
Had a great time diving with friends for 8 days. Rooms were lovely, clean and well appointed. The food was amazing. The dive master Ruben and the boat Captain Leo were awesome and fun to be with. Lighthouse reef fish life and coral are still in good shape

Incredible Experience
My husband and I cannot wait to return to Turneffe Flats! We brought our 17 month old with us which I was initially concerned about. The staff, managers, and owners were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and receptive. Our son was loved on while we fly fished and dive. He took his first steps and became an island baby so this lodge and Atoll hold a very special place in our hearts.

The food and accommodations were exceptional and it’s so refreshing to know that we had the least impact in a developing country by staying at a truly eco friendly lodge. We are so impressed by all they are doing.

Our fly fishing guide was the greatest. Friendly, funny and so knowledgeable. He knows that Atoll like the back of his hands, knows where the fish are, and put us on em (that doesn’t mean we could land em) haha. My husband caught the biggest tarpon of his life. The scuba diving was out of this world. Such a great boat captain and the dive master helped my husband to overcome his fears and enjoy diving again.

WARNING: if you stay here, you’ll want to return and will do whatever the need to do to get back.

A Great Tropical Lodge
This lodge has a great fishery all around the 400 square mile atoll. The lodge management, Craig and Karen, have put together a team of guides, dive leaders and staff who have great pride in giving you the experience you expect. The food is very good. The room are comfortable. The wifi is adequate. The other guests are interested in the same experience so it is a compatible group. I would definitely go for a week rather than a few days.

Turneffe Flats
Awesome scuba trip It was our 3rd time back to Turneffe Flats and I am happy to report it was basically unchanged!! Craig and Karen still have an awesome small resort and we love how they run it. Many of the staff were the same also and surprisingly remembered us. It was great to see them again! Our beachfront cabana was nice, every single meal was delicious and pretty healthy, too. We absolutely love this place! Every single dinner was seriously amazing - we love their meals and desserts - hats off to the kitchen staff! We will be back AGAIN!

Amazing Week Spent Diving at Turneffe Flats
Where do I begin? The diving on the Turneffe Atoll was first class. Our divemasters were extremely knowledgeable and passionate of their country's reefs. Highlights included the Aquarium dive (reef sharks and huge groupers following us around the whole dive!). The biodiversity and health of the coral at the Turneffe Atoll is fantastic. The accommodations were very nice, the food was creative and delicious, and a special thanks to Cindy the wonderful bartender for taking care of me all week. Thank you to the hospitality and management teams for making my stay memorable, especially for being able to accommodate me after my flights were delayed. I will be back, and next time I'll try my hand at fishing the famous flats.

Best Snorkeling on the Planet, Amazing Sport Fishing with Knowledgeable Guides
We have been to Turneffe Flats Lodge 3 times and love it! Thirty miles off of the coast of Belize and near the Blue Hole, this place has fabulous staff, service, and especially knowledgeable guides for ecotours, snorkeling, diving and fishing. Great opportunities to see fabulous nature in so many different ways: manatee, tiny shrimp, huge eels, not to mention every aquarium creature you've ever seen. Fly fish for tarpon, bone fish and permit...with great success! Beautiful, safe lodges range from doubles to 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Most amazing place on the planet!

Turneffe Flats for Scuba Diving
This was my second visit to Turneffe Flats. Simply put, this is an excellent place for diving and enjoying the biodiversity underwater at Turneffe Atoll. The dive staff was excellent, as was the food and the hosting staff. Turneffe Flats is very ecologically minded and concerned about maintaining the atoll in its pristine state. The Flats caters to divers and fly fishing; maximum of 30 visitors at a time, ensuring personal attention, both on land and on the dive boat. I would recommend this dive location and Turneffe Flats to everyone.

Return Guest - Blown Away Again
This place never fails to impress. Came back a second time and fell in love all over again. No place in my opinion combines the highest level of quality service with some of the very best in fly fishing and scuba diving.

Best Dive Trip of My Life
Everything was first class; food, lodging, especially the diving. We felt pampered by the staff. The diving included the Blue Hole and a night dive. But the best dives were the reefs, walls, and coral caverns. The fish were extremely friendly. We had big moray eels and sharks that just accompanied us. Big grouper…Five divers with a divemaster and boat captain, everyone an experienced diver. Staff took care of everything.

The Best Place I Have Been in the Caribbean
Great for an active vacation. This is a great place for a family with varied interests: world-class sea fly fishing, second largest coral reef in the world with spectacular scenery for snorkeling, extraordinary diving at the Blue Hole. A family-run hotel with a family home atmosphere. With only 12 rooms it is a very intimate feeling. Superbly professional guides for diving (divemaster), fly fishing, and snorkeling. Lovely large rooms with all the amenities. The cocktail hour included the owners, guides and manager as well as excellent drinks and superb hors d’oeuvres. Family style dining provided an excellent opportunity to get to know the owners, the manager and the other guest. All meals were included and the food was excellent.
