Amazing Lodge, Setting and fishing!
This lodge exceeded my expectations with the clean and comfortable accommodations, excellent food, fantastic guides, and great fishing. I loved to fish before and after my daily guided trip right out front on the flats in front of the lodge. I would highly recommend Turneffe Flats and I will definitely be going back!

One-of-a-Kind Location
It's no wonder why I return to Turneffe every year. Where else can you go and throw to a grand slam every day, fish with knowledgeable, expert guides, throw to tailing bonefish on the flat behind the lodge and be treated to 1st rate accommodations by the friendliest of staff? An Incredible Experience
Craig, Karen, Glenda, Rita and Phil were incredible hosts for the week of saltwater fly-fishing I recently experienced there. The accommodations were excellent, the food was great and the staff was attentive to our every need. It was a week spent in paradise!! This was my 4th visit to Belize and I can say that Turneffe Flats was the most memorable. Thank you to the entire team!!!

1st Class
My buddy and I traveled down to fly fish the flats. The accommodations are fantastic for a remote destination. The owners and staff are top shelf and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Our guide worked hard every day we caught bones, permit and a tarpon. I will go again sometime and highly recommend the Lodge.

Home Away from Home
My husband and I have been traveling to Turneffe Flats for years now and we enjoy it every time! My husband is an avid fly fisherman and I just enjoy the beauty, the snorkeling and the pool. Wonderful staff and accommodations!

Unbelizeable
Turneffe Flats is a world class resort in a beautiful location. The meals and service were phenomenal. I spent the week fishing, and the guides were very knowledgeable about the area and the fish. The resort is still owned and operated by the original owners, Craig and Karen, who do a great job interacting with the guests each week. If you're going to Belize, this is the place to be.

Another Great Visit
This was our second visit to Turneffe Flats and won't be our last. I go to fly fish, but the real attraction is the Atoll Adventure Program for my wife. She is not one to sit on the veranda while I fish, so the daily opportunities to snorkel or enjoy other nature-related excursions makes TF an ideal destination for us. Conservation is an important objective of the business; staff are friendly and informed. Above all, the Turneffe Atoll is a very special place in a world where special places are disappearing.

A Week at Turneffe Flats
Everything at Turneffe Flats Lodge was really first class, from the accommodations to the service to the food. Craig and Karen have done a wonderful job with their resort. The fishing was demanding as most flats fishing is. However, with our wonderful guide Mark, we were able to land permit, tarpon and bonefish during our stay. Thanks to Mark I was able to achieve the Grand Slam. I will be back!!

Fly Fishing Beyond Belief!
Hospitality is second to none! Craig and Karen have created a magical place filled with activities but it's amazingly relaxing. The family atmosphere made the trip more memorable as we shared in the wonders of the divers and snorkelers as well as fellow fly fishers. The food & adult beverages were wonderful and our guide Pops was so genuine and patient. Thank you for a wonderful week - we hope to see you again soon.

Best Snorkeling on the Planet, Amazing Sport Fishing with Knowledgeable Guides
We have been to Turneffe Flats Lodge 3 times and love it! Thirty miles off of the coast of Belize and near the Blue Hole, this place has fabulous staff, service, and especially knowledgeable guides for ecotours, snorkeling, diving and fishing. Great opportunities to see fabulous nature in so many different ways: manatee, tiny shrimp, huge eels, not to mention every aquarium creature you've ever seen. Fly fish for tarpon, bone fish and permit...with great success! Beautiful, safe lodges range from doubles to 3 bedroom, 3 bath. Most amazing place on the planet!

Another Fabulous Week on the Atoll
This was my 5th or 6th visit to Turneffe. Not sure how they do it but they get even better with each trip. Fishing was great. My guide was excellent. Accommodations were clean and good. Dinners were fabulous. Great staff and management. Wonderful week. Best run resort in Belize, hands down.

Absolutely Un-Belize-Able WOW!!
We were absolutely amazed with the staff at Turneffe Flats. From the moment we were greeted at the boat ramp until we returned to the airport it was top notch. The food, fly fishing and most of all the snorkeling are second to none.

We Will Be Back
Both my wife and I give this lodge an A+ in everything from uniqueness, location, snorkeling, saltwater fly fishing, accommodations, service, and food…we were blown away by this remote lodge. The fly fishing guides were also very knowledgeable, knowing where to find fish. All of the support staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent. We definitely plan on returning next year along with our 12-year old grandson who will definitely fall in love with the snorkeling and searching for manatees, dolphins, turtles, and crocodiles.

Incredible
One of my favorite places on this planet. Have been going down with my dad, cousin and uncle for years. The fishing is great but the location and the people are better. Incredible food. The staff is exceptional - you really feel like part of the family. The guides are truly professional - finding you fish day after day. Can't say enough about Belizean people, the resort, and the entire getaway experience.

A Week at Turneffe Flats
My wife and I spent a week at Turneffe Flats -- me for fly fishing, she for snorkeling. This is a top-notch, well-run outfit. Accommodations and food excellent. The grounds very well maintained. Being something of a beginner at saltwater sight fishing, I learned a great deal from John, my fishing guide. Snorkeling the atoll reef was spectacular. I can't think of how my stay could have be improved upon. Great place for any venue -- a bunch of fishing buddies, couples, or family. The image of a leaping resident tarpon I was trying to horse out of the mangroves will be forever burned into memory.

Great Place for Fishing and Relaxation
The fishing was fantastic catching bonefish, permit and tarpon. The guide was excellent and worked hard to put you on fish even during the one day we had poor weather. The staff at the lodge were excellent. They found plenty of things for my wife to do when I was out fishing. She already has me checking on dates for next year. Highly recommend.

I Keep Coming Back
This is my third stay at Turneffe Flats and it just keeps getting better and better. There just isn't anything about this place that I would say needs to improve. The meals are all made from scratch, bread, pastries, appetizers and all the entrees. They simply don't know how to put out a bad meal. The ladies that keep track of all the dishes, keeping coffee filled, remembering your favorites and also clean the cabanas are sweethearts. Rosie, Dara, Marcia and Letti are all sweet to their cores. The management staff of Jad and Diana as well as owners Craig and Karen are delightful. They make sure that you are getting the most out of your time on the island. Even though they must hear the same thing every week from the guests, they act like they have never heard it before and ask questions. As for the guides, my brother-in-law loved his fishing guide. The guide helped him brush up on fly fishing and went on to catch 5 barracudas as well.

Beautiful Turneffe Atoll
I just recently returned from a fishing trip to Turneffe Flats and wanted to quickly say what a wonderful experience I had. To start with T Flats is a fisherman's paradise. Three days of fishing and I didn't see one other angler the entire time I was out on the flats. My guide Mark was nothing short of completely professional and highly experienced. We had shots at permit and bonefish all day long. The resort staff was kind, courteous and very professional. The accommodations were clean and tidy and each room is equipped with AC units and nice bathrooms. Gathering each evening to have cocktails and talk about the day's fishing was great fun and the meals and hors d’oeuvres were all excellent. If you're looking for an exclusive resort, designed around fishing, diving and eco-tourism this is the place for you. Big thanks to owners Craig and Karen and the club managers Jad and Diana for a great time...Two big thumbs up for T Flats!
